In conjunction with the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program, the food service department is responsible for providing nutritious, appealing, tasty meals for all of our students. Our district implements offer vs. serve, which gives our students the choice to turn down foods that may not be consumed otherwise. We are responsible for knowledge of the rules and regulations mandated by the state of California. We are to keep the program cost effective and running efficiently.

Please send all corresponding mail to the district office at P.O. Box 8, Winton, CA 95388.

At each school in the Winton School District all students will receive nutritious meals free of charge every school day. The meal programs we participate in are supported by federal and state reimbursements that are based on household income and eligibility.
